Sunshine Rock and Blues is a brand new festival is presented by Caloundra RSL in conjunction with 92.7 Mix FM and Give Me 5 for Kids. Together, they will be raising funds for Sunshine Coast’s local hospitals.
Sunshine Rock and Blues Festival event will include a mix of free and ticketed performances. The stellar lineup of acts will be playing across three stages in July.
The bill includes ARIA winners, classic local acts, and some of Australia’s most well-respected artists. Free live shows will take place at the main stage, and ticketed events in the function room. An acoustic breakfast performance will also take place on the Viva Lower Deck.
The first evening will begin at 5pm, with a charity raffle and four main stage performances. Festival goers can also attend a set double-headlined by Jon Stevens and Richard Clapton.
Saturday will see live performances by The Bondi Cigars, Russell Morris, and The Black Sorrows, with Col Finley, Marry Rogers, and many more taking the main stage for free performances. To close the festival, Wendy Matthews and Michael Bryers will each perform very special sets to end the weekend’s events.
A charity raffle is scheduled on both Friday and Saturday, offering guests to further contribute to the festival’s cause.
