The Star Gold Coast has unveiled its new health and wellness facility and new event spaces as part of its current transformation.

The hotel has opened its new day spa, known as Azure Spa & Fitness, offering guests a luxurious menu of premium products, treatments and services, as well as a contemporary fitness centre. The ocean inspired design reflects the Gold Coast’s beach side lifestyle, with the spa featuring mother-of-pearl hued mosaic tiles and crisp light interior with soft textural wallpaper elements.

Open to hotel guests and the general public, the day spa boasts six treatment rooms, each embodying its own design character. The iconic Broadbeach property has also revealed the expansion of its meeting and events offering.

Updates include a new poolside lawn, additional boardrooms, poolside meeting rooms, plus a refreshed look and feel for the space.

The refurbishment project allows delegates to go from boardroom to ballroom to poolside, all under one roof, while the new pool level spaces have been unveiled as the Kirra Boardroom, the Currumbin Room, the Burleigh Boardroom and the Stradbroke Room.

The Star Entertainment Group Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg says the property has built an undeniable reputation as a prime destination to stay and play.

“We have opened the doors to a retreat where guests can relax and be pampered, or make use of high-end gymnasium equipment, providing the complete experience of a world-class integrated resort,” Mr Hogg said.

“The diversification of the property’s current offerings further cements its reputation as a five-star hotspot for major events on the national calendar. [It] supports the city’s vision of propelling the Gold Coast onto the world stage with our focus on the convention, exhibition and event market through our redevelopment. Celebrating our stunning climate and coastal lifestyle is at the forefront of what we do. We are incredibly excited to unveil our new health and wellness facility [and] poolside spaces.”
