The Floral Enchantment solo exhibition opened on Thursday 17 October, with a crowd of more than 80, joining artist Julie Whitehead at the Graydon Gallery New Farm. Julie’s exhibition was opened by well-known fashion stylist and Brisbane Fashion Month Director Liz Golding. Guests enjoyed a night of French champagne and a delicious selection of cheeses throughout the evening. Brisbane floral artist, Julie Whitehead’s work encapsulates energy, beauty, love, strength, colour and movement, with the heart at the centre of it all. Her floral paintings express a delicate sensuality yet these fragile flowers are resilient enough to grow and survive. The exhibition continues until Sunday 27 October.
